Not bad overall! Clean and comfortable ambiance. Service was very quick and nice. Pho was a big portion, good but not mind blowing. (8/10) Would definitely come back for its late night hours. Popcorn chicken was a miss because it was mostly batter. (6/10) Crispy chicken rice was pretty good too. (7/10)

Service is fast for how busy it always is! I enjoyed their garlic noodles. While it's in the middle of the pack when it comes to flavor (comparable to Ding Tea and Brodard's), there's a high if not equal ratio of protein to carbs. I can get behind that. Plenty of seating, but expect it to get packed later at night since it's one of the few places that opens late.

Great food. We've been coming for three years and the food has always been so amazing. The inside was updated and makes the seating so much more inviting! Definitely will be back!

Stopped by on a Friday evening to get some pho. We all ordered soup with the bone because why not. The soup itself had great flavor and wasn't too salty. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the ribs had a ton of flavor and were tender. Service was good, the guys working check on you a lot and refill water. I do wish they gave a plate for the bones. I knocked a star because I think the restaurant could be cleaner.

We ordered the garlic noodles with filet mignon and the oxtail pho noodle soup. Both were excellent and very enjoyable! It's important that you use the lime wedge to give it a little zing! Forgot to take the photo of the fried bao which was quite a uniquely exquisite appetizer! There are many other meal choices as well. Prices were reasonable for what we ordered. I will be dreaming about my delicious dinner for a long time! Certainly will come back.

Very delicious, well made comfort Vietnamese food and I would absolutely return if I was in the area and craving pho. The broth was really good. We also had shaken beef and garlic noodles. The green sauce that comes with it was soooo good. What is that sauce? I need to get a bottle of it. The one star knocked was due to portion size. Quite possibly the smallest amount of noodles I've ever gotten at a pho place. My young 9 year old was able to finish his bowl and that usually never happens. I wish they gave more noodles because it's not enough. Did not feel full when I left. Also, wish they had shrimp summer rolls on their menu. One of my fav apps at pho restaurants. Service was quick and friendly. Space was small but well designed. Bathroom clean.

The tiny place was packed for a cold Friday night. Other people had the same idea - soup for this chilly weather! It looks like it maybe holds 35 people inside, but staff is efficient at getting food out quickly & then cleaning up. We had a party of 15, so they worked with us to accommodate everyone. They were very professional & friendly, especially our waiter, Michael. They charge 18% gratuity on 6+ people, but they're very good at letting you know about every up-charge/ add-on. We ordered A LOT of food, but I only got the 2 shots below because they dug in so fast! The group chimed in & voted - Particularly good & would get again: oxtail pho, rib bone pho, shaken beef, popcorn chicken (kids), fried rice, Cajun fries with shaken beef (the green sauce is bomb!). The following were good, but they wouldn't get again: pork rib bones with fried rice (ribs were too sweet), habanero wings (not spicy enough), green tea (didn't look or taste like green tea, more like Lipton). All in all, everyone would go back!

We were craving pho while in Anaheim and decided to come here for the Pho Rib Bone! We came on a Saturday during lunch and we were sat immediately. The restaurant has about 10 tables and interior is clean with an industrial feel. All the drinks sounded great but I had to go with the fresh cucumber limeade and I was so happy I did, it was refreshing and too yummy. Andddd they have the best ice, nugget ice! The crunchy pork baos were the perfect appetizer with an outside crunch and a great soft mixture of meats in the middle. I wish they offered more than 2 in an order. Now let's talk about the Pho Rib Bone.. I've never had a rib bone in my pho before so this was something new but exciting. The serving was big enough to share with another person. The broth was full of flavor and the beef bone full of meat. Everything we ordered filled our cravings! The workers were so nice and the service was speedy. We were so pleased with Soup Shop, we can't wait for our next visit! There only locations are in California, so if you see one of your area be sure to stop by for the Pho Rib Bone.

After running several errands, I missed the lunch time so I had to find somewhere close to where I was. This restaurant popped up on Yelp so I didn't lose anytime and stopped by for a quick lunch. The server was very welcoming and brought the water and menu quickly as I sat down. Without thinking, I ordered their famous Crispy Pork Bao and pho. While I was waiting for the food to come out, I realized that most of the customers they have were Cal State Fullerton students, staff and professors because they were all talking about academic topics. It made me feel I was a student again, which was good because I had wonderful memories at Cal State Fullerton. The restaurant was small and cozy enough to be comfortable having your own space and engaging with other at the same time. When the foods came out, they both looked so appetizing and when I took a bite on that bao, it was so succulent. You can not only taste every single spices but also blending all together so well. The quail egg in the middle is another highlight of this bao. I seriously wanted to order more but I needed to finish the pho. The pho broth was light but the depth of the flavor was very deep. I would order them again. Glad that I found this gem! Can't wait to come back!
